Our story: from Bake Street to Manna
Manna is the brainchild of Feroz Gajia, the founder of cult East London favourite Bake Street. Feroz swapped a career in IT for a life in food and brought the same obsession with flavour, quality and nostalgia to burgers. The name comes from “manna from heaven” and nods to White Manna, the legendary American burger joint. Our first kitchen opened at Arcade Centre Point, followed by Arcade Battersea Power Station. Since then we’ve grown across London, Dubai and Riyadh, and landed on James Street in Marylebone, our first standalone Manna restaurant. The Times named us one of Britain’s best burgers.
The menu: smash burgers, nostalgic sides, no shortcuts
Our Manna Smash Burger is the one that started it all, and it starts with the beef. We work with Aubrey Allen, the family-run Leamington Spa butcher known as “The Chef’s Butcher”. They’ve been sourcing quality meat since 1933. Their standards are strict (only the top 1% makes the cut), and the meat is ethically sourced and expertly butchered. You taste it in every patty: juicy, beefy and packed with flavour, smashed on the grill for crisp, lacy edges. Go bigger with the Hot Smash Double, go spicy with the Hot One, or switch to Nashville hot chicken tenders. Add waffle fries, a thick shake and a pot of house sauce. Every burger is halal.

This is where Manna started. Our first kitchen opened at Arcade Centre Point on Tottenham Court Road, and you can still grab our smash burgers from the Manna counters inside Arcade in Covent Garden, Battersea Power Station and Tottenham Court Road. Pull up with friends, order at the counter and pick from a food hall full of London’s best food and drink. Fast, fun and always halal.
Standalone Manna restaurants in London: Marylebone and Portobello Road
Our first standalone restaurant is at 54 James Street, Marylebone (W1U 1HE), bringing the full Manna menu, retro diner style and a seat of your own. Manna in Dubai: Alserkal Avenue and DIFC
In Dubai you’ll find Manna in two very different spots. The Manna kiosk at Alserkal Avenue serves smash burgers to the Al Quoz arts district, and our newest Dubai restaurant is now open at DIFC (North Zone Podium Level, outside Gate Avenue, Zaa’beel Second). It’s built for lunch breaks, after-work meets and late cravings, and it’s open daily from 10am to 10pm for dine-in and delivery.
